We are looking for qualified HETAS engineers, Gas Safe engineers, and experienced builders to join our specialist team. We are a rapidly expanding business that has grown year on year, and we are looking for someone who would like a long-term, stable role. The role involves the installation of all types of gas, wood-burning and multi-fuel appliances as well as timber and stone fireplaces and surrounds. We also install flue linings, chimney systems, and high-quality contemporary and traditional fireplaces.

We aim to offer the best customer service experience to our customers across the board. Quality products and a high level of workmanship are our priorities. The person we are looking for would be friendly, competent, organised, and hardworking to join our busy team. The ideal candidate should have:

  • Sound knowledge of wood/and or gas stove and fireplace installations, including flues, and chimneys.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a constructive, supportive team member.
  • Follow instructions but also be able to work under your own initiative
  • Detailed knowledge of industry safety and work to building regulations.
  • Highly competent with appropriate qualifications, and relevant experience.
  • A practical mind

As a company, Zigi’s was established in 1982 and has grown vastly. Anyone looking to join our team will be part of a thriving business and a loyal workforce. Our work is ongoing throughout the whole year. Use of company van and uniform are provided. We would need to see examples of work and references would be required. A fabulous opportunity for the right candidate. A driving licence is essential, as well as being comfortable with working at heights.
